NSTP REFLECTION

Last year, we had our community service at Upper Carmen. It was indeed a heart felting activity; seeing all those kids smiling while receiving their gifts gave me happiness and joy. I could say that that was a calling from God and was already planned to come about. How amazing God is, isn’t it?
I have undergone several community services since way back from high school and all of it was so incredibly awesome! It was indeed a good and satisfying experience; meeting other people; go play with children; helping and bringing them great joys in their hearts; showing them the love of Christ; and guiding them to deal with all their discouragements or “Slough of Despond”. Back in our NSTP’s community service, we all have made a terrific job—thanks God to that! It was just like high school and I hope that we could help other people next time in God’s perfect plan.

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus”, Philippians 2:1-30
